Horace Mann reported 11 residential property nonrenewals in Georgia during the second quarter of 2026, according to a regulatory filing.

The nonrenewals were spread across three subsidiaries: Horace Mann Insurance Company accounted for eight, Teachers Insurance Company reported two, and Horace Mann Property & Casualty Insurance Company reported one.

Six policies were nonrenewed because of what the filing classifies as an “undesirable insured,” while five were attributed to an “undesirable property.” No cancellations were reported in the filing.

The affected properties were located across several Georgia communities, including Atlanta, Savannah, Columbus, Macon and Peachtree Corners.
