Hadron Introduces Rainbow BOP in New Jersey

Hadron introduced a new businessowners program in New Jersey targeting restaurants and personal care businesses such as salons and grooming operations. The filing says the program is based on Accelerant’s approved BOP program for Rainbow MGA and requests an effective date of “on approval.”

The program includes package coverages tailored for restaurants, retail and service businesses, and personal care operations. Available coverages include Cyber Suite, EPLI, food borne illness business interruption, restaurant contamination shutdown coverage, equipment breakdown, dependent property business income, fine arts, and franchise-related coverages.

The filing also includes multiple underwriting restrictions and exclusions, including PFAS, communicable disease, marijuana, cyber incident, assault and battery, and athletic participant exclusions.

According to the filing memorandum, the program incorporates “minor refinements” based on prior operating experience from Rainbow’s earlier program.

Rainbow, founded in 2021, has raised around $20 million and maintains underwriting partnerships with Accelerant and Incline P&C Group. Accelerant appears to be the primary nationwide carrier partner for Rainbow’s BOP and excess liability products, while Hadron supplements availability in states such as Georgia and Texas.
