GM National Files Auto Rate Cut in Wisconsin

GM National Insurance Company, part of the General Motors Group, has filed for a 13.2% rate decrease for its private passenger auto program in Wisconsin. The adjustment, submitted under SERFF tracking number ONST-134718055, applies to both new and renewal business effective November 10, 2025.

According to the filing memorandum, the insurer based its updated rates on competitor averages, noting that “several competitors have taken rate decreases in the state,” prompting GM National to adjust its pricing to remain competitive at launch.
