Viking Insurance Company of WI and Dairyland National Insurance Company have filed updates to their non-standard private passenger auto programs in Wisconsin, formally placing the affected products into run-off.
The filing was submitted on January 21, 2026, with changes effective for new business immediately and for renewals starting February 23, 2026.
In total, the filing impacts 107 policyholders—93 insured by Viking and 14 by Dairyland—representing approximately $226,947 in written premium across both carriers.
Despite modifying base rates for coverages including Bodily Injury, Collision, and Comprehensive, the companies report a 0.0% overall rate impact. The changes adjust underlying rate components while holding the net premium effect neutral. The prior rate action for these programs was a 6.5% increase, effective April 1, 2024.
Both products have been moved to run-off status, indicating the carriers are no longer actively writing new business and are managing the remaining policies through expiration.
