Cincinnati has received Washington approval for forms supporting a new personal auto program, effective April 1, 2027.
The insurer reported no policyholders or premium for the program under Cincinnati Casualty at the time of filing. Rates and rules were submitted separately.
The approved forms include standard personal auto coverage, Personal Auto Plus, Capstone Auto and Capstone Collector Auto endorsements, alongside options for gap coverage, replacement cost coverage and deductible-free safety glass repairs.
The Capstone Auto endorsement includes up to $15,000 in transportation expenses following a covered loss, a physical damage deductible waiver for total losses and up to $2,000 in pet injury benefits per occurrence. It also provides new vehicle replacement coverage for qualifying vehicles totaled within three years of purchase.
Washington regulators required revisions to several provisions before approving the filing. These included accidental death benefit timing, deductions for repairs that improve a vehicle’s condition, named-driver exclusions and cancellation notices.
Cincinnati submitted revised forms, and the filing was approved on October 23.
