Capacity Insurance Company filed to introduce a new Commercial Flood coverage option for non-residential property in Florida, submitted August 27, 2018 with an effective date of October 1. The change added the Limited Flood Coverage endorsement (CIC FLD 05 08 18) to its Commercial Property program.

The filing, handled by Perr&Knight (Paula Rossman), included both forms (CPIC-CPNR-FL-1801F) and rates (CPIC-CPNR-FL-1801R). It was processed through Florida’s I-File Workflow System.

While no premium volume or policyholder impact was disclosed, the move marked an expansion of Capacity’s product suite at a time when flood coverage remained an underserved corner of Florida’s commercial property market.
