BITCO General Insurance Corporation and BITCO National Insurance Company filed a rate and rule update for their Commercial Auto program in Vermont, effective April 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business.

The filing adopts ISO revisions related to multi state rules and loss costs to keep the program aligned with current countrywide standards. The companies currently have no commercial auto written premium in Vermont, and the update is administrative in nature.

BITCO previously delayed implementation due to system programming constraints, which have now been resolved.

The last rate change for the program was a 20.9% increase that took effect in July 2024.
