Amica is seeking approval for a 5% statewide rate increase for its Nevada homeowners business.
The filing proposes average increases of 5.1% for dwelling policies and 7.2% for condominium policies, while renters rates would decrease by 0.4%. The changes would affect 2,258 policyholders and generate approximately $183,000 in additional written premium. Individual impacts would range from an 8% decrease to a 12% increase.
Amica is also introducing an 8% discount for policyholders who pay their premium in full, excluding escrow payments. Additional discounts include 2% for electronic delivery and billing, and up to 5% for customers enrolled in AutoPay.
A new affinity program would provide a 10% discount to members of the Audi Club of North America, BMW Car Club of America and Mini Motoring Club of America, as well as Penn State alumni.
The proposed changes would take effect November 1, 2026, for new and renewal business, subject to regulatory approval.
