West Virginia National Auto has filed to introduce its BlueRidge personal auto insurance program in Virginia.
BlueRidge is a symbol-rated product with a rating structure designed to provide flexibility in determining rates and program eligibility. The filing includes endorsements for named non-owner coverage, roadside assistance, towing and rental, locksmith services, accidental death, legal expenses, rideshare driving, and delivery work.

West Virginia National Auto describes itself as one of West Virginia’s oldest domiciled non-standard auto carriers. The company distributes its non-standard auto product through independent agencies across West Virginia and plans to expand into Virginia and Texas.
The insurer submitted a companion rate and rule filing separately. It is targeting September 12, 2026, for the new-business launch, although the date remains dependent on programming work.
