Toggle, the digital brand backed by Farmers Insurance, is continuing to exit the South Carolina market, winding down its Auto and Renters products as part of a broader strategy to refocus on core lines and sunset the supporting platform.

Nonrenewal notices from Toggle Insurance Company and Mid-Century Insurance Company will begin on July 31, 2025, with policies set to expire starting November 10. A total of 748 Toggle policies and 560 Mid-Century policies will be nonrenewed over the next year.

The filings include a county-by-county breakdown and confirm that related rate filings will be withdrawn. The companies would need to refile to reenter the market. The plan received regulatory approval.
