Sypher Insurance Exchange filed its initial homeowners rate and rule program in Florida on January 20, 2026, marking the launch of a new homeowners offering in the state.

The program excludes wind coverage and represents the company’s first filing for this line. Sypher stated that it did not use GLM or other predictive modeling in developing the rates and rules, and noted that Citizens Property Insurance Corporation was not treated as a competitor for analytical purposes.
