State Farm Classic Insurance Company has filed to introduce its State Farm Classic+® program in New Jersey, rolling out a dedicated personal auto product for collector and enthusiast vehicles.
The filing, submitted January 15, 2026, covers rates, rules, and a full suite of policy forms, with a requested effective date of June 1, 2026 for new business. The program is positioned as an enhanced offering for owners of collectible vehicles and closely mirrors the structure already in use by Essentia Insurance Company, with state-specific adjustments for New Jersey.
Classic+ includes agreed value coverage and a broad menu of enthusiast-focused endorsements, such as motorsports participation options, spare parts and tools coverage, loss of use and trip interruption benefits, and specialized protections tied to shows, events, and driver education activities. The filing also reflects New Jersey–specific requirements around personal injury protection, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, inspection rights, cancellation and nonrenewal rules, and updated definitions tied to household and family members.
