State Farm Files Credit Score Model for Classic+ Auto

State Farm Classic Insurance Company has submitted a credit scoring model filing for its State Farm Classic+® auto insurance program in Texas, effective August 1, 2025, pending regulatory approval. The model used is LexisNexis Attract Home 3.0.

The filing is part of a broader rollout of the Classic+ program, a specialty product for classic car owners managed in partnership with Hagerty, which also acts as the third-party filer. The Texas Department of Insurance initially raised a compliance issue regarding the third-party authorization letter. State Farm Classic subsequently submitted an updated letter that explicitly granted Hagerty authority for this specific filing, aligning with regulatory requirements under 28 TAC §5.9310.

This filing builds on previous approvals in Texas for the Classic+ product, including forms, rates, rules, and underwriting guidelines submitted under separate SERFF tracking numbers. The filing contains no changes to forms or rates but ensures regulatory alignment for the use of insurance scoring in pricing decisions.
