Root Updates Georgia Auto Forms Following SB 121

Root Property & Casualty Insurance Company has filed updates to its Private Passenger Auto program in Georgia, effective November 21, 2025, for both new and renewal business.

The filing revises the base policy form (Form 1918) and the UM/UIM Selection/Rejection form (Form 1925) in response to Georgia Senate Bill 121, which requires insurers to reinforce driver financial responsibility. Root also updated its Rideshare & Delivery Coverage form (Form 1930) with clarified definitions.

The filing carries no rate impact. Policy provisions emphasize digital transactions, strict conditions for coverage, and grounds for cancellation tied to misrepresentation or undisclosed medical risks.
