Ohio Indemnity Company has filed a combined rate, rule, and form update for its Equipment Physical Damage (EPD) program in Kansas, effective December 1, 2025. The filing affects 198 policyholders and approximately $71,000 in written premium.

The submission proposes an 11.4% overall rate increase, supported by an indicated need of 17.3%, marking the company’s first rate adjustment since 2018. It also includes minor revisions to policy forms EPD-200 and EPD-210.

Regulators noted that if any of the form updates result in restricted coverage, a corresponding rate decrease would be required. The filing reflects Ohio Indemnity’s effort to maintain rate adequacy after several years without pricing changes.
