MGA Insurance Adopts TransUnion Credit Model for Auto Rating

MGA Insurance Company, Inc., part of the State Farm Group, submitted a filing in Texas on October 24, 2025, to adopt the TransUnion TrueRisk® Standard Auto model for use in its Private Passenger Auto (PPA) program. The filing, categorized as a credit scoring model submission, seeks approval for using the TrueRisk Auto score both as a rating factor (credit score alone determining premium adjustment) and as a tiering variable (credit score combined with other factors to assign risk categories).

MGA certifies compliance with the Texas Insurance Code regarding credit scoring use and confirms the filing applies to on-approval effective dates for both new and renewal business.
