Just Insure Gets Georgia Approval

Georgia regulators have approved a new personal auto insurance program from Just Insure, underwritten by Old American Indemnity Company. The filing was submitted May 13 and approved October 6, 2026, with the same effective date for new business.

The program uses mileage-based billing, with customers submitting odometer photos. Regulatory correspondence also references a default daily mileage estimate used when photos are not submitted and a ScoreSafe v.3 model that segments policyholders into risk categories for rating.

Just currently lists Arizona, Nevada, and Indiana on its website. It offers pay-per-mile coverage and unlimited-mile policies with flexible payment options. Policies in Arizona and Nevada are underwritten by Just Insure, Inc., while policies in other states are underwritten by Old American Indemnity Company.

The company has raised approximately $30 million across six financing rounds, including debt. Its latest listed round was a $14.7 million Series A in July 2022 from Scope Industries and Trust Ventures. Other backers include Crosscut Ventures, ManchesterStory, Plug and Play, and Western Technology Investment.
