MGA Insurance Company, the State Farm subsidiary operating as GAINSCO, is increasing rates for its Oregon private passenger auto program by 2.4%.

The filing affects 7,346 policyholders and approximately $10.2 million in written premium. GAINSCO reports an indicated rate need of 12.4% but is implementing the smaller increase.

Individual policy changes will range from a 5% decrease to a 10% increase. The filing lists an aggregate premium increase of approximately $215,000.

The changes apply to new business beginning September 18, 2026, and renewals beginning October 18.
