First Chicago, part of the Warrior Invictus Holding group, is expanding into Tennessee with the launch of its “Tennessee Maverick Automobile Program,” a new personal auto product.

The initial form filing, submitted on June 19, 2025, requests a September 1, 2025 effective date for both new business and renewals. The program introduces a full suite of forms, including a policy, application, declarations page, and 18 endorsements spanning rideshare and delivery coverage, renters protection, pet injury, emergency services, and legal expenses. A notable provision across the policy is a clear anti-stacking clause preventing the combination of limits across multiple vehicles or policies. A separate rate and rule filing (SERFF # FCLH-134573051) accompanies the submission.

No data on policyholders or written premium was disclosed, as this is an initial program launch.

FCIC currently offers insurance via independent agencies throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.
