Effective AI has a ChatGPT app that lets users research insurance carriers, MGAs, products and regulatory filings through their Effective accounts.

The app supports comparisons of competitors’ filed rate changes, coverage wording, exclusions and endorsements. Users can also review assumptions in actuarial memos and examine carrier financials, with supporting source documents.

Beyond research, the app allows authorized users to create and update working filings, organize document references and comment on regulatory objections. Preparing a filing workspace does not submit it to a regulator.

Access depends on the user’s Effective account and organization permissions, with additional authorization required for write functions. Discovery and some API operations consume Effective credits.

According to the listing, the app’s discovery function sends queries and optional task intent to Anthropic’s Haiku through Vercel AI Gateway to select an endpoint.
