Together, the forms are designed to clarify the scope of covered professional services, particularly as accounting firms expand into advisory work. CAMICO states that consulting activities falling under “Client Advisory Services” are intended to be covered, while services that involve managing, operating, or controlling a client entity are explicitly excluded.

The Independent Contractors endorsement further clarifies that coverage applies only to services performed on behalf of the Named Insured, reinforcing boundaries around third-party and outsourced arrangements. The Client Advisory Services Supplement is also used during underwriting to identify risk exposures tied to engagement letters and advisory relationships, including whether professionals are assuming management-like roles.
