Argo filed a new businessowners program in Maryland called the AN Select Business Package, with a requested effective date of July 31, 2026, for new and renewal business. The filing introduces a broad commercial package product based on ISO Businessowners forms and includes a range of proprietary endorsements and optional coverages.

The program targets a variety of small business classes, including contractors, restaurants, retail businesses, service firms, offices, florists, wineries, landscapers, animal services businesses, apartment owners, and photography operations. Optional endorsements provide coverages such as equipment breakdown, employment practices liability, identity recovery, tools and equipment coverage, animal bailee coverage, care, custody and control coverage, and cyber liability protection.

The program’s rates and rules are based on those used by affiliate United Farm Family Insurance Company (UFFIC).

The submission was filed on June 3, 2026, and remains under review by Maryland regulators.
