Accelerant National Insurance Company has filed to introduce its Colibri businessowners program in Nevada and Nebraska. The program covers businessowners and micro-businessowners policies and, according to the Nebraska filing, will be distributed online.

Colibri uses ISO rules, forms and loss costs, along with company loss cost multipliers. Accelerant plans to use the 2024 ISO Businessowners and 2020 Micro-Businessowners coverage forms, supplemented by proprietary endorsements. The program also incorporates cyber, employment practices liability and equipment breakdown products previously approved for the insurer in each state. Optional property and liability expansion endorsements are included.

The proposed endorsements include exclusions for biometric information, avian influenza, asbestos and lead, as well as an anti-stacking provision. The Nebraska rules set a $400 annual minimum premium, before charges for optional coverages.

Accelerant submitted the Nevada filing on Sept. 25, requesting an effective date upon approval. Nebraska designated its filing file and use, effective Sept. 25.
