Union Mutual has filed a product update in Connecticut to expand coverage options for contractor risks through its Businessowners Policy.

The filing introduces a new optional EnviroPak Endorsement for specialty trade and low to medium hazard contractors.

The endorsement adds Pollution Liability, Contractor Professional Legal Liability on a claims made basis, and Premises Pollution Liability, also written on a claims made basis. Minimum premiums for the new endorsement range from $35 to $50, depending on the selected limit.

Union Mutual also confirmed in the submission that it does not use artificial intelligence or machine learning for rate development, tiering, or risk selection related to this program.
