Telenav has filed Safety Score 1.1, a driving behavior-based telematics score for personal auto insurance, in Wisconsin.
The company plans to license the score to insurers for use in underwriting and rating. Participating insurers will manage their own telematics programs and must submit separate regulatory filings supporting their use of the score.
The model uses vehicle-level driving data, with scores stabilizing as mileage accumulates.
The filing was submitted and recorded as filed on July 28, 2026.

Founded in 1999, Telenav is a Santa Clara-based provider of connected-car, telematics and location-based services. It raised $30 million since inception.
