Tailrow Insurance Exchange has filed a File and Use rate submission for a new Homeowners program in Florida, according to a filing submitted on January 14, 2026. The rates are slated to take effect for new and renewal business on May 1, 2026.
The company notes that the filing does not represent a change to an existing book, as the program is not currently written. Instead, the submission establishes base rates across numerous Florida territories, with policies offered both with and without wind coverage.
Actuarial support and filing services were provided by Davies Actuarial, Audit & Consulting, Inc. Catastrophe exposure and loss projections were developed using Moody’s RMS North Atlantic Hurricane Models, including RiskLink version 23.0 and Risk Modeler 2.27.0, to assess hurricane loss costs and probable maximum loss levels.
