Secure Provider Launches Tech Vehicle Service Contract In Alabama

Secure Provider Services, Inc. received approval in Alabama on February 19, 2026, for a new vehicle service contract form.

The program is administered by DOWC Administration Services, LLC, carries the Janus Automotive Administrators brand on customer materials, and is insured by Old Republic Insurance Company.

The contract introduces an optional TechShield coverage level designed for modern vehicle technology, including components such as collision avoidance systems, camera based cruise control features, and haptic seat motors. The filing also includes a surcharge for hybrid vehicle batteries.

The product is offered as a voluntary protection typically financed with a vehicle purchase or lease through a dealership. It includes a Tie Back Area provision requiring vehicles to be returned to the selling dealer or a preferred repair facility if a breakdown occurs within 50 miles.
