Prescient National Insurance Company has submitted a Workers’ Compensation filing in Michigan, prepared by Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting. The filing, generated on November 4, 2025 (SERFF tracking number issued), requests an effective date of January 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business.

The update affects three policyholders and $79,384 in written premium, resulting in a total premium decrease of $5,486. The filing adopts the latest 2026 loss costs and Experience Rating Plan revisions issued by the Compensation Advisory Organization of Michigan (CAOM), producing an overall -6.9% rate impact.

Prescient National stated its intent to remain competitive as it continues expanding its Michigan book, while keeping its current Loss Cost Multiplier (LCM) unchanged. The filing also revises rules to exclude NAICS code 561330 (Professional Employer Organizations) from the Temporary Staffing Rule.
