Nodak Insurance is scaling back its use of Arity data, removing prefill-based driving scores from its Drive4Less telematics program. Instead, drivers must now install and actively use the Routely app to receive a participation discount. At renewal, Arity-generated scores from the app will replace the initial discount, tying ongoing savings directly to observed driving behavior.

“Currently, with the consent of the applicant while enrolling in the Drive4Less program, we order a score through Arity IQ to see if the driver has an existing driving score with Arity. If they do, we use that existing score to provide a driving discount. We are discontinuing the process of ordering a report to obtain any existing scores with Arity.”

Nodak previously used Arity IQ to check for existing driving scores at onboarding but now relies exclusively on Arity’s Routely app for ongoing telematics-based pricing.
