NHRMA Mutual Insurance Company received approval to expand its workers’ compensation offering in Illinois by adding five new class codes, effective March 18, 2026. The filing allows the carrier to write business for fishing rod and tackle manufacturing, insulation work, HVAC and refrigeration installation and service, fast food restaurants, and insurance inspection services.

The company will adopt the 2026 NCCI voluntary loss costs with no deviations. Because NHRMA does not currently write business in these classifications, the filing results in no rate impact, no written premium change, and no affected policyholders.

Submitted on February 16 and approved the following day, the filing reflects an expansion of underwriting appetite rather than a pricing change.
