GuestPlus, LLC has filed in Utah to launch a new service contract product for vacation rental hosts. The filing, categorized under home warranties, was approved on September 4, 2025.

Marketed as the GuestPlus Vacation Rental Service Contract Plan, the program operates on a monthly subscription of $69 or $99, with a $100 deductible per incident. Coverage applies to personal property in eligible commercial vacation rentals, protecting against accidental damage during guest use.

The plan differs from homeowners or renters insurance as it excludes structural systems, major perils such as fire or theft, and guest belongings. Instead, it reimburses repair or replacement costs for select items, with GuestPlus deciding whether to repair or replace. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours and include documentation and photos.

GuestPlus is domiciled in Nevada, with Alexander Walker III, ESQ, listed as the filing contact. Walker also serves as a director at InsuraGuest. The program is subject to limited oversight by the Utah Insurance Department and is not covered by the state’s Property and Casualty Guaranty Association.
