Georgia Farm Bureau Revises Personal Auto Policy

Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company has filed a form revision to its Personal Auto Policy in Georgia, effective September 1, 2026. The update removes the phrase “For retail or wholesale delivery” from the exclusion on vehicles used to carry property for compensation.

The change aligns coverage with the company’s practice of allowing certain small business exposures to be written on private passenger auto policies. The filing carries no rate impact and reflects a broader, more flexible approach to underwriting while maintaining electronic notice provisions and definitions such as “transportation network platform.”
