Fitchburg Mutual Insurance Company has filed its 2026 ComPak update in New Jersey, effective April 1, 2026 for both new and renewal business. The changes affect 3,760 policyholders and $35.1 million in written premium, with an expected premium impact of $879,098.
The filing includes updated rules and rating factors, a new Human Trafficking Exclusion endorsement, a revised Maintenance of Heat or Winterization Requirement endorsement, and the withdrawal of two endorsements tied to Miscellaneous Professional Liability. The company is requesting a 2.5% overall rate increase, compared to an actuarial indication of 3.4%. Last year’s revision raised rates by 4%.
Fitchburg Mutual expects to move these updates into production on January 26, 2026 and has asked for a disposition by January 23.
