Arbor Reciprocal Exchange filed an 8.9% homeowners insurance rate decrease in Texas.
The change affects 6,956 policyholders and $14.3 million in written premium, reducing premiums by an estimated $1.3 million. Individual policy impacts range from no change to a decrease of 25%.

Arbor filed to launch its Texas HO-3 program in July 2025, targeting a September 2025 effective date. The program is administered by Thicket Management, with Sycamore Specialty Underwriting Services serving as managing general agent. It combines standard AAIS forms with proprietary coverage options and exclusions addressing risks including roofs, hail, windstorms, water damage, swimming pools, trampolines and animals.
The company requested a July 15, 2026, effective date for the rate decrease on new and renewal business.
