American Sentinel Insurance Company is preparing to write workers’ compensation insurance in Texas.

The Sunz Holdings carrier submitted an initial schedule-rating filing on September 11, referencing two related workers’ compensation filings. The company is an NCCI affiliate and reported no existing Texas premium or policyholders for the program.

American Sentinel requested an immediate effective date. The filing remains under review.
